Review local card scan
The scanner finds visible rank-and-suit corners, not whole card outlines, so the cards can overlap. Check that every card was found and remove any false matches. To add a missed corner, drag a box around its upper-left rank and the suit underneath; exclude borders and centre artwork. Manual additions are appended, so check hand order. Touch users can drag too.
Balatro pixel-font references are currently calibrated only for Q, 10, 9, 8, 6, 3 and spades/clubs/diamonds from the supplied sample. Other indices and lower-resolution or compressed images may be missed. Prefer the original PNG screenshot.
Choose Unknown values manually; remove non-cards. Check Play for up to five cards. This reads ranks and suits only, not jokers, upgrades, editions, seals or raised cards. Applying replaces the hand with plain cards; jokers and hand levels stay unchanged. Set any upgrades under Edit cards afterward.
Review local joker scan
Built-in recognition starts with Walkie Talkie from your sample, not the full catalog. Automatic regions look for pale upright joker borders in the top-left game row of a full-screen image. Cropped, overlapping, tilted or special-edition jokers may be missed. Check the count as well as every name.
Drag around a missed full joker, including its border, then choose its official name. Save reference teaches this browser its artwork for later scans. Crop consistently and save additional examples for different appearances. Unknown or ambiguous matches need manual labels. Touch users can drag too.
Applying replaces only the joker list, left to right. Matching existing copies keep their editions and scaling values in occurrence order; new copies start without an edition. These attributes are not detected: check them manually in Game state. Cards, selected hand, counters and hand levels stay unchanged. No matches will not erase existing jokers.
Vision settings (optional AI scanner)
These settings are not needed for the free local scanner. In AI full-screen mode, the image is sent
directly from your browser to the endpoint below; the key is stored only in this browser's local storage.
For a local model use e.g. http://localhost:11434/v1 (Ollama) with no key.
